August 26, 2018 - Mark 7:1-13 - Traditions

8/26/2018

Reflection Questions:

1. In Jesus' time there were many traditions that people were expected to observe. Do you or your family have any traditions you like to keep? How did these traditions start and how are they passed down?

2. Can you think of any "traditional teachings" that exist in our culture that are unbiblical? For example, one unbiblical teaching that is traditional in our culture is that once you turn 18 you no longer need to "honor your father and mother."

3. One way that we can honor God within our own families is by saying words and doing deeds that reflect His love. How have you learned about God's love from people within your own family? How can your words and actions help your family to more clearly see and understand God's love for them?
